Contacts

This is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, change a court date, or pull an official booking or release record. Use the official contacts below for those tasks.

Where to Ask First

Pick the office by custody type. A local Perry County jail release, an out-of-county hold during the jail closure, an ADOC discharge, a parole or probation status, a federal release, and an ICE transfer are different records held by different agencies.

Perry County Sheriff and Jail

The sheriff and jail contacts are the first local route for a Perry County booking record, release date, release reason, transfer notation, or booking photograph if it is public and held by that office. Ask whether the person was housed in Marion or at a receiving county jail during the reported closure period.

Perry County Court Records

Court records often explain why a person left jail, such as bond, dismissal, time served, sentencing, probation, warrant recall, or transfer. The court record may not show the exact door-out time, so pair it with the sheriff or physical holding facility when that detail matters.

Alerts, Federal, and ICE

VINELink and Alabama VNS can help with custody-status alerts, but VNS is limited to people convicted in Alabama and sentenced to ADOC custody. The VNS page directs pretrial case questions to the sheriff in the county where the crime occurred.
